Spring 2010

We started the tradition of going to the Zoo on our anniversary last year- so to keep with tradition, we headed there again this year! It was a little cold, but we had so much fun with Cale- he still wasn't sure of the animals- his favorite was probably the lemurs again!

Our little family on the Choo-Choo! This was the highlight of the Zoo visit!

Still trying to figure out how his car works!

Happy 32 birthday Daddy!

We went down to Thanksgiving Point for the baby animal days- us and everyone else! It was fun to see Cale look at all the animals- he really just loved smelling the flowers that line the pathways! Too cute!

It was cute to see him bend down to smell each tulip- he loves flowers!
He's my kid afterall!

What a little cutie this boy is! I just love being his mommy!

Smelling flowers with Daddy!

What a sweet little boy we have! He's so much fun to be with! We love taking him places and letting him discover his world! I love seeing the excitement in his eyes! What a little angel I am blessed with!

Wow! So much time has gone by and I need to get back on the Bloggin' Bandwagon! We have had so much fun this spring- lots of fun times with Cale! I absolutely LOVE that he is getting bigger and talking so much! He's like a little grown-up in a kid's body! He is such a sweet little boy, and we are so lucky to be his parents! Everyday is an adventure!

Train Expo

Who likes trains? We do!!
Cale and his cousin Lela

Riding the train

Cale and Grandpa
Mike took Cale up to the model train exhibit in Ogden this weekend. They had so much fun looking at all the trains. Cale loves trains, he calls them "Choo choo's"! They had so much fun playing with the trains, climbing on them and riding them- what an adventure!

Hardware Ranch

So we went up to Logan this last weekend- and went up to Hardware Ranch. It is this huge open field where they feed the elk that come down. They have a ton of elk here, but unfortunately we went at the end of the season, and so many of them had already started heading up into the mountains. It was fun to see them and to show Cale what wild life looks like!

Elk butts! what a great site!

The Hancey Cousins- at the visitor's center

Check out this wildlife!

Looks like Daddy found a new girlfriend! Nice!
We had a fun time going to Hardware Ranch. I hadn't been there since I was in Elementary- so it was fun to take Cale and see all the elk again. I want to try and keep doing fun things with Cale so he will have some fun memories of what we do as a family!

Bob the Builder!

We have a little obsession of "Bob the Builder" around our house, so anything that has to do with "Bob" is a big hit! You can only imagine his delight when he discovered the construction zone at the Gateway! Every time he sees Bob, he yells out, "Bob!" "Bob!" So cute!

Could have ridden this thing for hours!

So cute in his hard hat! It was a little big on him, with plenty of room to grow into it!

Sorry for the duplicate photo, still can't figure this thing out! Mike is convinced Cale needs a "Bob the Builder" themed birthday party this year! We'll see! July is still a few months away! Cale is such a sweet little boy! I am so amazed at how fast he is learning and growing!
I love you little guy!

Discovery Gateway- Here we come!!

We went to the Discovery Gateway a couple of weeks ago with Mike's cousin Ashley and her little cutie, Berkley. We had so much fun! There are so many fun things to do and see, we could have spent the whole day there! Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Future Cartoonist! Cale loves to draw and color- Watch out Walt Disney!

Giddey Up little Cowboy!

Two of the cutest news anchors! They were both starting to "melt down"- nothing a little bribery with some goldfish couldn't fix!

Watch out Dick Norse and Shauna Lake! Cale and Berkley have got this whole TV thing down!

Playing in the water, again, another favorite thing to do!

I thought the little smocks they have them wear, were so stinkin' cute! They didn't mind wearing them!

Playing with the Balls! Perhaps the best part of the Gateway!! Cale was in Heaven!!

We had such a fun day! Thanks Ashley and Miss Berkley! We'll have to do it again!!

Good Bye Curls!!

Once upon a time, there was a sweet little boy with the cutest little curls....

But everyone knows that when the gel runs out, little curls are no more....

This is what happens to them!! They magically turn into a faux hawk!!

So sad! Cale got his first hair cut this week!! Mike had given me a gift certificate to Cookie Cutters to get his first haircut, I knew it was getting long- but I had been putting it off intentionally- basically so I could keep putting gel in it and getting it to curl! It was really so stinkin' cute! But alas, one has to realize that at the end of the day, when the gel is gone, so are the curls and you are left with a kid who looks like a little rug rat! :( Anyway, he was so good! The girl who cut it was darling, and made sure to give him a sucker, and watch his favorite, "Bob the Builder!" With treats and a good movie, who cares about losing your curls?! Right- luckily there were no tears from him, maybe I wanted to shed a few!! He looks so cute, such a little grown up boy! What a little sweetheart he is!

Happy New Year!!

Playing with his new Garbage/ Sanitation Truck! It beeps when it backs up- so cool!

Cale wasn't too sure what to think about Santa's visit on Christmas Eve- he didn't shed any tears, but you could tell he was excited to get off his lap!

Enjoying Christmas Day at Grandma Linda's

Seeing the Lights at Temple Square

We have been a little busy this new year- so that is why it has taken so long for me to finally post something new! Cale got his cast off right before Christmas, so that made our Holidays even merrier and brighter! We had a great Christmas and yes, Cale is still enjoying his "Shish!" (Thanks again Santa!) We would have posted more pictures from Christmas Morning, however, anyone who has seen me in the mornings would appreciate us not posting any of the lovely sights!! (Thanks Mike for getting me in almost all of them!!)

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and this next year will be filled with blessings from above! We love you all!
